Home Defense

We are now offering four hour long FAMILY PROTECTION courses. Each class is four hours long and will be instructed by one of CQT's trained instructors. These courses are designed for families that prioritize safety and want to prepare for the worst encounter. In emergency situations an individual will use previous experiences or rely on training making these programs invaluable. These courses can be conducted for a family unit, solo family member or couples. Courses are broken down to public settings, dwelling and bringing everything together to test what you and your family has learned over the courses.

Our eight hour PERSONAL PROTECTION course is designed for the solo CPL holder that instructs students to  have a pre-planned course of action during an active violent encounter in a public setting or at home.

FAMILY PROTECTION PROGRAM - PUBLIC SETTING - 4 hours  - 2/24

                           
This program is designed for the families that prioritize safety and want to be prepared for the worst encounter. This program instructs students to have a pre-planned course of action
during an active violent encounter in a public setting. The course also  covers  how  to  read the situation, heart rate control, and safely maneuver loved ones.

 

In emergency situations an individual will use previous experiences or rely on training making this program invaluable.

FAMILY PROTECTION PROGRAM - DWELLING - 4 hours - 3/10

                           

This course in the program is designed for families to have a pre-­planned course of action for inside of a building or in the
place of dwelling. Students will learn how to coordinate with law enforcement, maneuver family members out of danger areas, or lockdown a strategic point.

TOPICS:

• What is CQB?
• Castle Doctrine  (What are your rights?)
• Place of dwelling vs. public setting (inside a building)
• Stronghold & Family plan development (Law enforcement

     coordination, home layout, family member roles &  

     responsibilities,  “go bag”)
• “Save life, but also minds” (child considerations & weapon

     selection)
• Practical - CQB Basics 1 (Close Quarters Battle)
• Practical - Family movement & Placement
• Practical Exercise - Family movement to stronghold

FAMILY PROTECTION PROGRAM - SOP TESTING - KNOW YOURSELF - 4 hours  3/24

                           

This portion of the program is essential and is designed for families to test everything learned thus far in the program. Students will learn about themselves, their families, and their reactions under stress, which is a vital component to surviving an active violent encounter.

• Practical - Home Invasion (Force on Force)
• Practical - Public Active Violence Event (Force on Force)
• Practical - Family movement to stronghold (Force on Force)

PERSONAL PROTECTION PROGRAM - Solo CPL Holder Response to Violence, Public Setting and Dwelling - 8 hours - 2/18

                           

This program is designed for the solo CPL holder that prioritizes safety and wants to be prepared for the worst encounter. This program instructs students to have a  preplanned course of action during an active violent encounter in a public setting or at home. The course also covers how to read the situation, heart rate control, coordinating with law enforcement and more. In emergency situations individual will use previous experiences or rely on training making this program invaluable for instinctual response.
